1. Who we are

ALMA ("ALMA", "we", "us") is operated by ALMA. These Terms govern your use of the ALMA Discord bot, the website, the page builder, and pages hosted for you (together, the "Service"). By running /register, accepting on the dashboard, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, and the Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old and meet the minimum age for Discord in your country.
  • If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must read these Terms and agree to them on your behalf before you use the Service, and is responsible for your use of it. When you accept these Terms you confirm your age, and, if you are under 18, that your parent or guardian agrees.
  • To buy credits you must be at least 18, or have permission from a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
  • You must follow the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

3. Your account

Your ALMA account is tied to your Discord account. You are responsible for activity on it. One person, one account: creating extra accounts to collect starter or free credits is not allowed.

4. Credits

  • Credits are a prepaid balance for using AI features. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and are not a currency or stored-value instrument.
  • New accounts receive 50 starter credits once, and 25 free credits are available each day. Free daily credits do not accumulate and are used before paid credits.
  • Each command shows its cost before you confirm. Credits reserved for a run that fails or is cancelled are returned automatically.
  • Credits do not expire while your account is active. We may change prices for future runs with notice on the website or in /wiki; this does not affect runs already confirmed.
  • Refunds of purchased credits are covered by the Refund Policy.

5. Your content and AI output

  • You keep any rights you have in prompts, images, audio, and other material you submit ("Inputs"). You confirm you have the rights and any consents needed to submit them, including consent from any person shown or voiced.
  • Subject to these Terms and the terms of the underlying model provider, you may use the results ("Outputs") for any lawful purpose, including commercially. AI output may not be protected by copyright in some countries, and similar output may be generated for other users.
  • You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to process, store, transmit, and display Inputs and Outputs only as needed to run and secure the Service, including sending them to AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy.
  • Outputs are produced by AI. They can be inaccurate, offensive, or resemble existing works or people. Do not rely on /chat, /decision, or any other output for medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions. Label AI-generated media as such where the law or a platform requires it.

6. Hosted pages

Pages made with /build are public to anyone with the link and stay up until you or we take them down. You are responsible for their content. A page is made by its owner with AI and shared by them: we host it, but we do not write, review, or endorse it, and we are not responsible for what it says or does. We may remove any page that breaks these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or that is reported for phishing, malware, or infringement.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on Discord, OpenRouter, and AI model providers. Their availability and policies may change, and some models may be withdrawn. You must also follow the usage policies of the model you choose.

8. Suspension and termination

We may limit, suspend, or close accounts that break these Terms, abuse the Service, or create legal risk, and we may remove content and report illegal material to the authorities. You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time with /privacy delete or from the dashboard.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of output, and uninterrupted availability.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or USD 50 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims caused by your Inputs, your use of Outputs, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the website and you will be asked to accept them before your next paid use. The version and effective date are shown at the top of this page.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of India. If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or another country with mandatory consumer protections, you keep those protections and can bring claims in your home courts.
